Adding to my TBR list! Celebrities for Jesus is the only one I’ve read, but it was so good and I’ve been mulling over it ever since. For The Chaos Machine, you said your struggle over pros and cons re: social media has ceased. Can you say how, or is it something we’ll understand when we read it?
Thanks for reading, Joy! Regarding The Chaos Machine, what the book confirmed for me was how these platforms capitalize on user engagement at great cost, especially when it comes to content that generates extremism and moral outrage. Facebook and YouTube are the most extreme culprits Fisher cites throughout, but it goes to show these platforms are not neutral. We are the products and they are shaping us, more often for the worse in their present state, which was my biggest takeaway from the book.

Sounds very interesting! I’m looking forward to reading it!
